Vision Training
At Park, we offer a comprehensive Vision Training Service for children.
What is Vision Training?
Vision training or eye exercises are used for a number of reasons more typically to re-educate a subject in how to control their vision and get the most information out of what they see.\r\n\r\nWhat does Vision Training involve?\r\nUsually a number of half hour appointments will be made at fortnightly intervals. At each appointment up to 4 vision training procedures will be described and tried out and then the subject continues this at home. Over a period of time a portfolio of exercises is built up which is then repeated in the students own time before another mini assessment is made. Vision training at home rarely takes more than 10 minutes a day, but it is important that it is done every day. Although this may not sound much it can be quite a commitment to take on for some families and careful consideration needs to be given to this before embarking on vision training.
