We are an independent practice offering a full range of services but with a particular interest in Binocular vision and Children with specific learning difficulties and dyslexia.
John P Glover
John P Glover qualified in 1976 with a Bsc in Ophthalmic Optics from the City University in London and is a founder fellow of the British College of Optometrists. He gained a higher certificate in Contact Lenses in 1980 whilst working at Moorfields eye Hospital.
In addition to the practice in Romiley Mr Glover also works within the reading difficulties department at UMIST and help in the undergraduate binocular vision teaching clinics.
Further training in the field of Behavioural Optometry has been obtained by attending courses by visiting lecturers in Behavioural Optometry from the USA and Australia both in this country and in Denmark. He also has a keen interest in the non-surgical control of myopia, or short sightedness.
Contact lenses and spectacles
The practice also offers a full range of other Optometric services including diabetic eye screening, glaucoma screening and regular eye examinations. All types of contact lenses including soft, gas permeable, toric and bifocal are available. More information.
